Indeed this is a very lovely piece that I can relate greatly in more ways then ten. :D But first my critique.
The way you cross the reality with fantasy is a amazing original touch that I haven't seen before. May of us who create OC's wish to do the very same thing. The way you made your fingers and thumb cross over to the style and world your OC is in is very impressive and clever as hell. Especially when you keep the smoothness of the computer monitor and your hands in a clean set. And also the fact that you had the fingers touch makes the entire piece so real yet dream like. It gives me goosebumps when I see it. Very awesome job at hiding your tip of the fingers that was in the screen, most artist would fell at that tiny of a detail.
Above all the effort and style is amazing! And you did an amazing job. And ya OC is quite the hunk. I hope great things come to you and your new OC's future!!!!

The idea of having a person jump into a virtual world is not new, but it is seen very rarely to the person who is not looking for such a thing. While personally this feels like a post that you would put on Facebook or an other social website, you can understand the feeling of the artist wanting to be with her creations. Also having the character unfinished exemplifies this even further, as if the artist suddenly stopped in realization; "I want to be there."

I wish though that the effect of the hand reaching into the screen could have been a little bit more stronger. The very first initial circles surrounding the fingers is good, but the ripples could have affected the screen more, maybe distorting the surrounding area instead of just lines. I also feel that the drawn out parts of the artist's hand doesn't quite match up. I can't tell if the fingers have been cropped off or if she is doing an illusion. It's slightly uncanny. However, the concept is still clear to the viewer.

To be honest, I think you should take this a step further. Maybe look into even more ideas. What if you reached in further? What if you decided to take a step in?

What if he grasped your hand and pulled you in his world?
